Inadequate Deployment Information

Hello everyone,

 

I am having trouble with a device, I cant create a bot as i keep getting an error saying “inadequate deployment information”. When i switch to another device it works but will not work on this particular computer. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the bot agent several times with no joy. This is the computer for bots so need it to work on this computer. Can figure out why it wont work. Any help would be great.

Hi @Orchid1  

  1. From the Bot agent machine, open command prompt and run the whoami command to get current user name (Domain\UserName).

          

  1. Make sure the 'DomainName\Username' is entered under edit profile under the section Device login credential.
  2. And update the password as well.
  3. Then run the task\bot and it will run successfully.
