@Rohit Linux is not one of the supported platforms for client-side operation. It is a supported platform for server-side operation.

Please clarify if you have an enterprise license and want to install the server-side operations.

If you want to try out Automation Anywhere with our Community Edition for example, you will need a computer or virtual machine running Windows or macOS.

Subject: Seeking Expert Advice on VM Upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 - Device Setting Issue

Dear Aaron Gleason,

I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out for some guidance regarding an issue I’ve been encountering with a virtual machine after upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11. I’m currently using the community edition of [VM software name], and after the upgrade, I’m consistently seeing an error message whenever I try to connect to the VM. It appears to be related to device settings not being properly updated.

To help illustrate the issue, I’ve attached a screenshot of the error message I’m receiving. The message reads: “System allows only a single device to be registered. If you need to replace your existing device, you should delete it first.” The error code is: devicemanagement.register.validation.single.device.

I’ve tried [mention any troubleshooting steps you’ve taken, such as reinstalling drivers, adjusting VM configuration settings, etc.], but the issue persists.

I would greatly appreciate any advice or insights you could share on how to resolve this. Specifically, I’m wondering if there are any key settings or adjustments I may have missed when upgrading the virtual machine to Windows 11.

Thank you in advance for your time and expertise!

Best regards,
Rohit Kanyal
