Email error

If you are using the “New” Outlook, switch back to the “Old” Outlook to allow for email actions to function properly.

I’m using “Old” outlook.

Hi Reinstall the Office 365 software and it works. I had same issue today and this solved it.

@Koushik.G1  i have outlook installed on my machine, but when i use send mail:outlook i get the same error. Do you know why it could be?

I use microsoft365,  version 2408

If you're using the stand-alone Outlook application, in the upper right corner may be a switch for New or Old (Classic) Outlook. New Outlook doesn't support sending mail through the Outlook connector, but Classic Outlook does. 

@Aaron.Gleason  outlook(classic) is written when i search from windows:search, but i get that email error. Idk what to do

If there is File bar in outlook, its old outlook as i searched. So its old outlook but i get error

Hi all, I am getting the same error as “Error: Either an Outlook account is not setup on your system, or the Outlook application cannot be found”. It was working till last week. I did repair the Office 365. Still, I am getting the error message. Please assist me.

​@Gunasekaran.K If you’re using the Email package, two things must happen:

1. You must be running the OLD Outlook. The email package does NOT work with the new version of the Outlook client because Microsoft removed the conduit from Outlook that made this possible.
2. Old Outlook must be running on the same computer the automations are run upon.

The recommended fix is to use the Microsoft 365 Outlook package instead.

Yes, I am using outlook (classic) with A360 latest Email package. Still, I am getting the same error after Office repair and re-installation of A360 Bot Agent. My colleague’s credentials are working in my machine, and my credentials are working in my colleague’s machine with the same setup.

Also, for MS 365 package usage, we may get challenges to get the client ID & Tenant ID.

When I try the Python script instead Send email command, also have same issue as not triggering the email.
