Go to Manage > Devices (from the left-side menu). You will see your device. Go to the 3-dot menu on the right and select Delete to remove your device.

Once done, go to the icon in the lower-left of your screen that looks like a map pin in front of a computer, click it and select Connect Local Device.

If you’re having problems deleting the device or getting it to reconnect, use this page that I made to reset and delete the device:  https://developer.automationanywhere.com/deletedevice.php

Common Reasons for Device Disconnection in AA Control Room

  1. Device Shutdown or Restart
    – The computer or virtual machine was shut down or restarted.

  2. Network Issues or Slowness
    – Unstable internet connection or network lag can break the connection between the Bot Agent and Control Room.

  3. Same User Logged in on Another Machine
    – If the same Windows user account is logged in to another machine, the current device session may get disconnected automatically.
