Hi Community,

I am currently working on the Master Certification use case exam and facing an issue when trying to connect my local device to the Control Room. The error I receive is:

 

Steps I have already tried:

  • Uninstalled, installed, Restarted Bot Agent multiple times.
  • Cleared cache from C:\ProgramData\AutomationAnywhere and installed Bot Agent

  • Same issue in the new Device as well.

Despite these steps, the Bot Agent is still not connecting to the Control Room.

@Automation Anywhere I am currently blocked with Usecase exam and not sure how long will I have time to complete it. Please kindly let me know how to resolve this.

@kumbummn7 Go to Manage > Devices, find your device in the list, click the three-dot menu and delete the device. Then, reconnect again. 


Thank you @Aaron.Gleason for the guidance. 🙏 I had also received similar steps from ChatGPT, and your confirmation helped me retry with confidence. The issue is now resolved—really appreciate the quick support from the Automation Anywhere team!
