Question

Connection with bot running device nog working.

The connection with my local device is not working, which means i can no longer run the bots i make.

I tried reinstalling the bot agent on my local machine but it gives me an error in the webportal that there is only 1 device allowed. I hoped this would work because it is the same device.

When i try to delete my device in the management settings i get the error:

"Cannot delete device, as it is part of an active bot deployment

If the problem persists, please contact your system administrator."

I am on a 30day trial license and i am not the system admininistrator.

Is there any solution for this problem? I still have more than 20 days in my trial...

Hi @Jorden Van Remoortere

Try to run a sample task with that device from CR, if it was able to run or not, Check with the AA support team, as the device might be got locked and allowed to delete and they will from the database end.

Dear @Jorden.V,

We have different scenario when we cant connect to device are following:

  1. Reinstall the bot agent with latest version
  2. Restart the bot agent services
  3. Make sure AA certificate for control room is added in your local machine
  4. Restart the machine
