Hi team,

Creating this ticket on behalf of my colleague.

He is not able to connect the device with community edition CR as there is some activity running.

He deleted all the artifacts related to it and struggling with the issue.

His id is vimishra@deloitte.com

Pleas keep him in loop when replying to this thread.

  1. Navigate to service and stop Automation Anywhere Bot Agent service.
  2.  remove the registration.properties and AA-DB.mv.db file from C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\AutomationAnywhere

  3. Remove the device from Control room → Manage → Devices if it's showing as connected.
  4. Navigate to service and start Automation Anywhere Bot Agent service.
  5. Disconnect from the machine and ask the user to follow Bot Registration steps:
    1. Click on local device pop up > Connect local device > Connect to my computer > Single User > Done
  6. Check the local device pop up to make sure cycling is resolved.
  7. Check C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\AutomationAnywhere if registration.properties and AA-DB.mv.db file were created with latest timestamp.
  8. Request to revoke admin access to VDI machine once the issue is resolved.

Hi @AnilB4022

Checkout below steps,

  1.  Navigate to Devices section and delete existing device
  1. Try connecting the back again

If this is not working, follow below steps,

  1. Uninstall Bot Agent
  2. Delete files in C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\AutomationAnywhere
  3. Download and install Bot Agent again
  4. Complete the Device registration instructions shown on the screen

Doesn’t work for me. The problem is I can’t delete the device.
