Hi @Vchen ,

what are you trying to do?

Network install or local?

Cheers

Marc

@Vchen Maybe you want to try this first:

  • Try to delete below file if exist,

C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\AutomationAnywhere\registration.properties

and then uninstall and reinstall the Bot Agent and check again?

If this does not help,

  • Open Task Manager (as Admin)
  • Click Services
  • Click on STOP on "Automation Anywhere bot" running Service
  • Re-install bot agent

Install Guide:

Cheers

Marc

@Marc 1985

Tks for your kind help . It doesn’t work anyway to re-connect my control room to my local device. When I download the bot-agent.exe file and try to install the agent to my PC. The error snapshot always showed that “C:\Users\VChen\AppData\Local\Temp\{0954C931-E645-412A-8063-A059D9801F80}\ cannot be found, that the mentioned.msi file package cannot be found.

I also as my company’s IT helpdesk for help , cannot solve this either.

Hi @Vchen,
Try selecting the file that does exist already in that same file location. You can select the existing file by clicking on the Browse button. It worked for me when I had faced this same issue.

@Vchen were you able to try the fix that @Vatsy recommended?

Hi @Vchen,

Have you tried installing the bot agent using an Admin user account? Additionally, you can log in to the Automation Anywhere Control Room (AA CR), download the AA bot agent from there, and attempt the installation using an Admin user.
