Bot Agent not getting detected in Control Room (Community Edition)

I’m using Automation Anywhere Community Edition on Windows 11.

  • Bot Agent installer runs and completes successfully

  • Background processes like NodeManager / BrowserAgent appear in Task Manager

  • However, the device never gets detected in Control Room (My Devices page does not tick)

Observed behavior:

  • Bot Agent UI does not stay open

  • Control Room never registers the device

  • Reinstalling does not change the result

Already tried:

  • Running installer as Administrator

  • Clean uninstall and reinstall

  • System restart between installs

Looking for:

  • Possible reasons why the Bot Agent is running but not detected

  • Any known Windows 11 / system policy / permission issues that prevent device detection

  • Logs or diagnostics to check for detection failure
