My first bot error: bot.execution.error


Hi, I have created my first bot unable to open/read the .csv spread sheet using the OpenExcel action. getting the error as bot.execution.error.
Error on line 2.

@mengavamshi  can you provide the screen shot ?  what was the code in line2 ?

Can you check whether the EXCEL.exe is active in the background or not. If it is running, please kill the process before trying to open the CSV file.

Hi @Padmakumar 
I did checked that but the EXCEL.exe task isn’t running.

Are you able to open Excel files normally?

Hi @Padmakumar yes I can open/read the same csv file using csv action, but unable to run on ExcelOpen action.

yeah also can open the files normally.

yeah also can open the files normally.

 

How about opening XLSX or XLS files through Excel advanced package? If that is also encountering issue then, please try after changing the package version.
