We wanted to take a moment this week and gear up for International Women’s Day, which takes place this Saturday, March 8th. Each year on this day since 1911, women are celebrated for their contributions across various industries. While we work to recognize all women every day, this one is special, so we wanted to make it a week’s long celebration!
We reached out to few of our MVPs to hear what being a woman in automation means to them.
What does it mean to you to be a woman in the technology industry, particularly in automation?
“Being a woman in automation means, we’re shaping the future of technology, bringing innovation and likely inspiring others along the way.”
-Navya Gunasekaran, RPA Tech Lead at Wipro, @NavyaG
“Women are a beacon of confidence and owning who they are – unapologetically.
There is an amazing quote by Bella Abzug that says, ‘The test for whether or not you can hold a job should not be the arrangement of your chromosomes.’”
-Rasika Sangole, Automation Developer, @Rasika S
What advice would you give to the next generation of women leaders in technology?
“Your journey may not always be a straight line, but every step you take is creating a path for those who follow. Embrace your unique perspective and trust in your ability to innovate.”
-Jackie Moore, Sr Manager, Automation, @jmoore023
We couldn’t let the day go by without thanking all of the women that play a role in making our Pathfinder Community thrive. Thank you for being here and sharing your knowledge with others! We recognize you on International Women’s Day and always.
