How to automate the format cell in excel sheet

I want to change the format of the multiple columns in a excel sheet using excel packages but I can only able to select those multiple column not able to change its format. Anyone suggest me an idea other than record capturing.

In an excel sheet i have some data and i want to change the format of the multiple columns from general to text. For this i want an alternate approach instead of using keystrokes and object clonning method.
