Question

With the v25 release we have defining policies feature in CR to do code review of the bot. We can select predefined rules to have high level check on code standards. Is there any way to define custom rules so that we can leverage the functionality?

I don't believe it is possible to design custom rules, there is a defined set of rules that can be used and the list of those rules can be found here: https://docs.automationanywhere.com/bundle/enterprise-v2019/page/enterprise-cloud/topics/control-room/administration/settings/code-analysis.html/p>

Thank you for confirmation

@Chaitanya Deshmukh Have you tried this ?

Works in real time, should have most of the code standards and is configurable.

Hi Sumit we are using this one and works fine. Only thing is here as well we have to use predefined set of rules and we do not have option to create new rules. Thanks for the extension, it is helpful.

@Chaitanya Deshmukh What kind of rules are you looking for ? I can add them in next update.

Maybe also an ability to create custom rules.

@Sumit Kumar This is variable option as it changes from client to client. Hence we are looking at configurable option where we can add rules as needed. Will keep you posted if we get some common set of rules. thanks
