It had to work fine as there's nothing wrong in the screenshots. Do you have any restrictions in sending mail to outside your organization?

Firstly, you don't have to use a Connect Action to send Mails, it works even without it.

Second, could you please share the error message/screenshot so that we may be in a better position to assist you?

I would request you check with the email server team if they have blocked it or not.
