Switching von standalone to cluster mode

Hi Community,

we are running a standalone installation and want to switch to clustermode. Did anyone else do this before? What is to be considered?

@Stefanie Are you planning only app server to be cluster mode or both app server and db server as well?

for App servers you have to create load balancer URL or VIP and attach servers
for DB servers you have to create Listener
installation will be standalone on each server
if you are using shared drive or shared repo, that needs to provide during installation

Hi @rbkadiyam

in the first step we want to have the app server in cluster mode. DB server may eventually be switched later.
