Recorder Window Application Path

Hi I am interacting with a desktop application. I was wondering if anyone knew if the Window Application Path (Image below) was actually needed in order for task bots to run or if it can be wildcarded in a way?

I really wish this could be parameterized or editable in some way.   in cases where there is a mix of environments (32bit/64bit) or varying Program data this is a PAIN to have to recapture.   We need this feature.
