No error message appeared in control room, however when the page was refreshed the 'Last Migrated' status in the upper right updated to 'Failed'. Logs gave no clear picture of the error.

Resolution : Issue was related to a space issue. Even though output is pointed to D: drive, low space on server's C: was causing the failure. Beware leaving trace mode on server logs for extended periods.
