Hi,

We have recently set up our Control Room to synchronize with git, but we are finding that screen captures of the Recorder objects are also being committed to the git server which we don't want because they contain personal information.

Is there a way to disable the upload of images in the first place, such as editing the .gitignore file within the Control Room?

Thanks

Hi @Ennio Aguilar ,

As of now this feature is not available, I'd recommend opening a support ticket with AA using below link to get any work arounds.

if you don't have access to the above link, Send an email to AA Support team "apeopleopsteam@automationanywhere.com" to get the access.

Hello @Ennio Aguilar

  • The screen capture from recorder action in bot is an internal system dependency of bot which comes during IMPORT/Export, Check in Check out action, so ideally we cannot restrict sending it External GIT repository, but we have few ways to overcome security challenge:
    • In A360 Control Room settings We have an option to enable secure recording(Administration> Settings>Bots) , by doing this images and control values will NOT be captured during business process recording by Bot creator
    • Recommendation is to have External GIT repository as private instead public.

Vinod
