Extracting incorrect date in Document Automation

I am using document automation in the community edition, I have specified to extract date in DD/MM/YYYY format. I have uploaded 4 sample docs. It is extracting policy_expiry_date correctly for some docs and for others, it is not.

As in the attachments below, the date it is extracting differs for all fields.

Any solution to overcome this issue?

I have tried using the data type as Date without enabling date formats and extract filed using pattern options, now it is extracting correctly. If I specify to extract in any custom format it is not giving the correct data.
