Hello,

I uploaded a .exe file in Control Room. Problem is I cannot run it from there.

Is there any way I can run a .exe file that I uploaded in the control room? I can only do it via local file.

Please advise.

Thanks!

HI @dionisic ,

I think you won’t be able to run the exe file from the control room. You will have to download it first on to your system and then run it.

Hope this helps!

Hello, I am using this Application Open command. However, it only can open local file. Is there any way I can do my task?

@Abhay Naik is correct, you can’t run it inside the Control Room folder, that environment isn’t a windows operating system so executables can’t be run via the control room. As he states, you’ll want to set up an automation to download the executable to the your local device, and execute it from there.

Whatever you’re trying to do, there is probably a better solution. Can you explain your use case?
