Delete folders/files under GlobalCache folder

Need help-

Can someone help me to how to delete files/folders under GlobalCache folder(C:\ProgramData\AutomationAnywhere\GlobalCache). Since it is required Admin Privilege to delete files under GlobalCache folder. How we can achieve it using BOT.

Add botrunner id / bot id  either at AutomationAnywhere folder or Global cache  with full control → Then folder delete works.. 

I tried, its working… try and let me know if you face any issue.

 

Process to add user → Rt click the folder, properties , security, Edit → Add user and select permissions as Allow all → Apply…

Connect with your IT and get the Read & Write Access to the Global Cache or Root Folder level to the respective bot id.

Provide permission in the folder as above mentions, stop Automation Anywhere Bot Service and try delete it again.

Probably is better using a script to delete the folder Global-Cache. It will be recreated after start the AA Bot Agent Service.

@Kandari 9606  While bot running you delete those file which not using “Automation Anywhere Bot Service”.
