Date/time for the previous day

Dear Community,

I have a requirement to form a URL where two of the parameters are the date followed by the time for the beginning and end of the previous day in the format YYYY-MM-DD%20HH:MM:SS

I am trying to wrap my head around how to do this but so far i’m drawing a blank. If anyone has done anything like this and can give me some pointers they would be much appreciated.
