Connecting RPA to an inbox that does not have a Username & Password (Shared Mailbox)

I have been advised by our NHS IT Department that all shared mailboxes within our organisation do not have a username or password (only an email address) as they do not have an AD account. Is there any way in Automation Anywhere to be 'given access' to a shared mailbox like a normal user in order to read and deal with the emails? and how would I build this into a process?
