Hi, Using A360 and have a number of task bots in production (Public) running on an unattended license. 

Reviewing all the options and articles, all suggest that by Checking out a bot in public folder, logging on a creator machine, i should be able to Rename the Task bot. - this is not the case. 

The only way i found this possible is by : cloning / copying in private the bot - renaming and checking it back in. - but by doing this the Bot ID changes and all the Monitoring(External BI) against the bots that have been running with the old name will not carry over with the new executions. 

Has anyone encountered this? if so / is there a box to tick somewhere to allow rename upon checkout?
