Issue :: A360 - Control room is down due to DB issue

 

Error ::
connect timed out. Verify the connection properties. Make sure that an instance of SQL Server is running on the host and accepting TCP/IP connections at the port. Make sure that TCP connections to the port are not blocked by a firewall.

 

This issue related to DB, password may change, DB serer may rebooted during maintenance window or networking issue to reach DB.

 

Resolution:

Restart A360 Services :  Restart the Control room services in the following sequence -

  1. Automation Anywhere Control Room Elastic Search service
  2. Automation Anywhere Control Room Caching
  3. Automation Anywhere Control Room Service
  4. Automation Anywhere Control Room Bot Compiler Service
  5. Automation Anywhere Control Room Storage Service
  6. Automation Anywhere Control Room IQBot Service
  7. Automation Anywhere Control Room Robotic Interface Service
  8. Automation Anywhere Control Room Discovery Bot Service
  9. Automation Anywhere Control Room Discovery Bot ML Service
  10. Automation Anywhere Control Room Messaging
  11. Automation Anywhere Control Room Reverse Proxy

 automatic connection to database is no available is restart is mandatory to A360 function normal??

@sushma.bhandary Issue fixed, The issue happens due to dbo.ignite.cluster have node_id status other than active.

Resolution:

Stop all AA services remove all entries from dbo.ignite.cluster and restart AA services and check the number of records is same as db server nodes with status active.
