Your device username is not necessarily (or usually) the same as your user name. Instead, erase both your username and password fields there, then click the reload arrow on the right-side of the username field. That should automatically fill in your local computer’s domain and user name.
If it does not, bring up a command prompt (or PowerShell or whatever Microsoft is calling it today) and enter the command “whoami”. Copy and paste the response from whoami into the username field. In both cases, your password will remain empty.
I am still not able to get a proper connection. I’ve tried several things. I signed completely out and started over. I changed my password. When running the Bot I refreshed the User Name and got back the proper domain/username (OILDRI/markbur), but the password still fills in. I’ve tried the original PW (Automation123!) and the new one (Redboy88%) and still get the error. I updated the PW under both the My Profile and Devices section of Settings.
I will not be able to proceed far in the course until I get this resolved. Any other suggestions.?
I deleted my Hello World Bot and started to create it again and noticed that I may not have the right edition. In the video, the Home button brings up a different screen that I see when I click my Home button.
How can I tell I have the right “Community Edition” version. Should I try to download this edition and start over?

We recorded these videos during the switchover from version .33 to version .34. One of the changes made was the left-side menu. Don’t worry -- it should work just fine with the version you have. There will just be a few changes along the way. We had to hurriedly re-record several videos as late as yesterday to make changes to the menu for the videos where it made a difference.
